Battery Changing Instructions for the e-pill CADEX 12 Alarm ALERT Watch

Change of Battery e-pill CADEX runs on a CR2032 button cell. At the first sign of low power (dim display), have the battery replaced. We strongly recommend that you take your e-pill CADEX 12 Alarm ALERT Watch to a jeweler for battery replacement, instead of changing it on your own.

IMPORTANT: Once the battery is replaced, in order for the watch to function properly, you need to reset the watch by pressing and holding in the 4 buttons on the sides until the watch display goes blank (about 5 seconds). Release the buttons and the watch will beep. You will need to reprogram your watch after the reset.

Battery: CR2032 (standard watch battery)

Battery Life: The battery that was shipped with your e-pill CADEX watch will not have the full battery life, since it was installed when the watch was manufactured. A new fresh CR2032 battery of good quality (we recommend using a CR2032 Made in Japan by a reputable manufacturer such as SONY, Maxell, Energizer, Duracell or Panasonic) will last for about 12 months.

Battery Changing Instructions (PDF fromat) for CADEX 12 Alarm Watch and Medical ALERT:

1. Use a small Philips head screw driver to remove all four screws from the back of the watch.

2. Carefully remove the watch back plate, note that the sound maker is attached to the inside of the back plate. Precaution should be taken to prevent any damage. Leave the O-ring in place.

3. When you remove the back plate you will see a white sticker covering the metal bracket piece that secures the battery in place.

4. Remove the white sticker from the metal bracket.

5. There will be a small screw securing the battery in place. Remove this screw and put aside. ,li> 6. Remove the old battery from the watch. Insert the new CR 2032 battery protected by a tissue and with text facing upwards.

7. Replace the sticker on the bracket. Make sure the gold spring is inserted through the opening and protruding out. Also make sure the O-ring is in place.

8. Secure the back plate into place by cross-torquing the 4 screws. Do not over-tighten the screws.

The final step is to hold down on all four buttons for five seconds. Make sure you see the screen reset and HEAR the BEEP.
