Alarms: max 28 daily alarms, very loud - strong sound (up to 60 minutes in duration)
Capacity: 28 pill (medication) compartments. Each compartment can hold the equivalent of 15 Bayer® sized Aspirins. If more tablet capacity is necessary use 2 or more compartments at the same time (set for the same alarm time).
Once-a-day= 28 days, Two medication times per day = 14 days, Three medication times per day = 7+ days, Four medication times per day = 7 days ... up to 28 times per day.
Lock: Built-in Lock. Two (2) keys are included.
Medication Tray: Two (2) Medication trays are included (one active = in the unit and one spare = can be filled off-site)). In addition one (1) dust cover for the spare medication tray is included with your system.
Early Dose: Patient may (if this feature is activated) access medications up to 30 minutes in advance (before next alarm time).
Log Function: A History / Log File is kept (if this feature is activated) for the last 28 dispensing events. This record can only be accessed if the unit is unlocked.
Alarm Duration: Can be set for up to 60 minutes.
Alarm Strength / Alarm Tone: 3 different sounds/ levels can be selected. No tone (silent option) is also available.
Bliking Light: Turn on or off. Runs with the alarm. May help vision impaired patients and to direct the patient in situations when more than one e-pill Automatic Pill Dispenser may be in use.
Auto Day Light Saving Time: Unit can be set to automatically change the clock for daylight saving time (if this feature is activated).
Battery: Unit is portable and does not need to be plugged into a wall outlet. Battery life is approx. one (1) year with a low battery indicator automatically turned on three (3) months before it is time to change batteries. Unit is powered by four (4) AA alkaline batteries.
