Help your Mom/Dad stay Independent. Age-In-Place. Thank you for your interest in our e-pill Station (Locked Automatic Pill Dispenser with Tipper device). We are the largest US manufacturer of automated devices (e-pill Medication Reminders) designed to help patients remember to take their medications correctly. The e-pill Station is one of several Locked Automatic e-pill Dispensers that we sell.
How does the e-pill Station Work? (Patent US 9,198,834 B2 & 9,539,177)
This is how this e-pill works: At each scheduled time the inside tray rotates and makes the next set of medications available. If meds are left in position when the next scheduled alarm time is reached, they will be rotated away (this is how the e-pill Station prevents double dosing).
Right Meds - Right Time - Right Dosage Every Time with an e-pill Station Automated Locked Pill Box with Tipper
As Easy as 1-2-3: When the alarm is heard (1), the patient walks over to the locked automatic pill dispenser (e-pill Station) and simply pulls the blue dispensing handle forward. Alarm will sound for 30 minutes (or until taken). Meds remain accessible up until the next scheduled alarm time.
The right pills for this medication event will drop into the medicine cup (2). The alarm and the blinking light automatically stop. The patient now has all her/his medications for this event in the cup (right pills in the correct dosage). All alarms automatically reset at midnight and will repeat at the same time each day.
As an alternative to using the cup (stainless cup included), the patient may dispense medicine right into their open hand (3).
How many alarms can you set on the e-pill Station?
You can set up to Six (6) Daily Alarms on the e-pill Station. Alarms auto repeat every day (no re-set required). If you are looking to set more than 6 alarms per day consider using the e-pill MD1 PLUS / e-pill Med-Time PLUS (you may set up to 24 daily alarms) with the Tipper accessory. This combination offers you longer alarm duration, log history, more alarm settings, louder alarm and the popular early dose feature.
Do I need to dispense in a cup?
No you don't need to use the stainless steel cup (included). To get your medications, you can simply put your open hand under the e-pill Station and pull the handle with your other hand. You can only access the medications that have been pre-loaded for this medication event (this dose).
