The DOSER™ tracks the use of medication taken from a Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI). This innovative device provides peace of mind for people with asthma and their caregivers. With its self-contained microcomputer, the DOSER counts and displays the number of inhalations remaining in the inhaler and displays the number of inhalations taken in the current day. The DOSER also stores the number of inhalations taken in each of the last 30 days in its memory and alerts the user when the MDI is nearly empty. With its self-contained battery, the DOSER lasts a full year.
YOU WILL NEED: THE NEW INHALER, THE DOSER UNIT AND A PEN OR PAPERCLIP
FIRST REMOVE NEW INHALER CANNISTER FROM THE PLASTIC MOUTH PEICE
SECOND PLACE THE DOSER UNIT ON TOP OF THE INHALER CANNISTER
THIRD 'SMOOTH DOWN' THE DOSER RUBBER SEAL AROUND THE CANNISTER
FOURTH REPLACE THE CANNISTER WITH THE DOSER ATTACHED INTO THE MOUTHPIECE
With the pen or paperclip, press and release the 'clear button, the unit will “wake up” and displays “0 0”
2) To set the clock:
Press and release the “set” button
Press and release the “history” button
Press and hold (or tap) the “set” button until you reach the hour that is closest to the current time
Then, wait a few moments and the screen will go back to “0 0”

3) To set the number of inhalations:
Look at the label of the canister to identify the number of inhalations
Press and release the “set” button and the number on the screen will flash v Press and release the “clear” button, and the number will continue to flash
Press and hold (or tap) the “set” button, until you have reached the number of inhalations in your inhaler
v Then wait a few moments for the screen to stop flashing ....
The DOSER is now set to “count” and track each puff of medication

NOTE: For resetting the DOSER for the next new prescription (full) inhaler: Just follow step 3
